Sky Shuyang Zhuang is a photographer whose work spans documentary, photojournalism, fashion, and portraiture, with a focus on how social and political forces shape everyday life within underrepresented communities. He has worked with institutions including the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, the Arlington County Police Department, and Syracuse.com, producing visual stories across editorial, documentary, and institutional contexts. His work has been recognized by awards, including a 1st Place College Media Association Pinnacle Award, the AEJMC Magazine Contest, and has been shortlisted for the Sony World Photography Awards and named a finalist in the Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest. In 2025, he was selected for the Pingyao International Photo Festival in China. He is completing a Bachelor of Science in Photography with a minor in Museum Studies at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, graduating in May 2026.
